Who am I?

Hi! My name is Kamara Mongkon-Gill and I’m from Lebanon Pennsylvania , about an hour and a half from campus . I’m a business management major, in the future i hope to explore the world of cosmetology  and hopefully taking over the family business or run a new location for them.



High school was a very busy time in my life, i was always either running around trying to make it to all of my different sporting events.  Coming from middle school i told myself i was gonna be more involved, and i was successful. I ended up exploring different sports and clubs a from fashion club to tennis until something stuck. I ended up finishing my high school career loyal to wrestling and cheerleading, even though I didn’t continue wrestling in college it still remains one of my favorite sports.

When I’m not busy with sports I like to explore my creativity and do different fun nail art on myself and sometimes friends and family. I’ve been doing nails for about 4 years ,I’ve learned that I have a passion for doing fun expressive designs . I think my creativity stems from my own mother’s career in nail technology being a salon owner. In my head it was always just a hobby until I discovered nail art. With nail art I’m able to express myself artistically and make a little bit of money in a fun way.


I’m excited to start this new semester and meet new people, if anyone need their nails done let me know😋

    Thanks for sharing. I'm fascinated by nail art. It's become such a huge industry in recent years. I enjoy pedicures, but I find having my fingernails to be a bit distracting. I'll enjoy seeing it on others!

 My name is Madeline Rineer. I live in Lancaster, about 2-2.5 hours from here. I am an honors student and a Mandarin Chinese language major.  In my free time, I like to dance. When my nails aren't too long, I also like to practice the piano and play the guitar. Who am I?

Hi, my name is Dat Le. I am a freshman at Bloomsburg University, and my current major that I changed to is Biomedical Science with a Pre-med concentration. I live in the city of  Wilkes-Barre which is pretty close to Bloomsburg so I could have commuted, but I chose to dorm and see the real college experience. Every since high school, I've enjoyed playing volleyball during and outside of school so I chose to also play in club volleyball I college. I originally grew up in Vietnam and moved to the states in 2013. My last surprising fact is that I recently went to New York for the first time the day before I came back from break.

Who Am I?

First Tier II tournament win!     Hello, my name is Carter Brown. I'm from Pottsville, PA, around an hour drive away. I am a second year student, and I changed to an EGGS major in the professional geology concentration last semester, formerly a chemistry major.      I enjoy video games and I am part of the Smash & Games club on campus. If you come to Kehr Union room 231 in the late afternoon or evening on Friday, chances are you will see me engaging in some sort of video game at the Smash & Games club. I won a Smash Bros. tournament there last semester, which was when the picture on the right was taken! I also enjoy bowling. I often go bowling on Thursday nights with other members of the bowling club. I have also recently gotten into Star Wars, around a year ago.
