BTS Members Debut     BTS is a globally known K-pop group that was form off of dreams and hopes of a couple young teenagers and a label, and now, it grew into what it is today. They have built one of the biggest support groups or fandoms in the world called ARMY. All of these fans would stream their music, attend concerts, social media things, and creative fan projects. Some of the things that creates such an amazing and supportive fanbase is their meaningful lyrics, and amazing performances that will leave people's mouth wide open the entire time. For this reason, their fandom, has become a full built community where people share their creative freedom, support one another, and have loyalty for the group. As a person who is a fan currently and was in the fandom previously, I would say there are multiple ways to get more involved and making it worth every second of your time no matter what you are doing like being more active on social media, participating in the insanely...

    W hile we all love the Pacific Rim series, the movies, the action and the stories they tell, the fandom goes a lot deeper than just that. There's a lot more fun to be had immersing yourself in this fandom then just watching the big blockbuster movies. It's important to get the full experience of the fandom so you don't miss out on some of the coolest parts of being a fan. Things like ranking kaiju, placing different jaegers against threats from other monster-verse titles and creating 3-D animations are interesting parts of the fandom and are a lot of fun to look into and create material about. Tate goes on many tours where her fans come from all over to show her love and support. These superfans are part of the Tate McRae fandom and show their support in many ways. As a fan myself I wasn’t particularly inclined to participate in the fandom, that was until I found out the benefits of being a part of a community like ARMY. In this blog I will go through the access of charity, community, and fan information through this fandom. Being a part of army introduces fans to various forms of charity work in the name of BTS. Fans regularly organize donation drives, environmental projects, scholarship funds, food banks, fundraising, and more. For example a fan run face book page,  US BTS ARMY , holds an annual fundraiser to support kids all over the world. These activities reflect the values of BTS represented in their music, that so often attract caring fans. This is why Taylor Swifts Fandom is one of the largest fandoms in the country. Not only having their own spot in the dictionary puts these Swifties on top but many more things that make them a strong and welcoming fandom. My dad was a huge fan, so I constantly watched the movies, saw references online, and heard conversations about characters and theories. At first, I thought Star Wars was simply a movie franchise with a big fanbase. However, after researching the fandom more deeply, I realized the community is much bigger and more influential than I originally thought. There are plenty of Eagles fans all over, but the ones that are truly missing out are the ones who haven't interacted within the community. Before researching about the Eagles fan there was so much I didn't know. Specifically to tailgating, online spaces, and foundations, these are all spaces that are highly active and aren't all just what meets the eye.  The concept of tailgating was very vague to me before doing research, but after research I found that it becomes an entire event. Tailgating creates entire community, from individuals who wake up extremely early in the morning and stay in the parking lots of the Linc all day. Surprisingly tailgaters don't even always go into the game, instead fans will set up with food and TVs to watch the game outside of the stadium.
