Who Am I?

Who Am I?

Who am I? What a difficult question to answer, given only three points. Although I could go on and on about things that would surprise you, I've narrowed it down to three points that I think would give a good first impression of me.

This shows a little sneak peek of the
one too many clothes that I have.

First, I'd like to talk about my interest in fashion, more specifically, vintage fashion.  I cannot say that I've always dressed well, but my sister has, and I began my collection mainly because of her. She also started to notice her wardrobe shrinking and the familiar pieces in mine. From there, I really took to going to thrift stores, near and far, to spend hours on end tediously searching through the racks. I used to go thrifting as a kid, so it is always something I've done, and I used to consistently find very nice vintage pieces at pretty low prices. Unfortunately, now that thrifting has become popular in the media, it is rare that I find genuine pieces, and if I do, I assume it must be an attempt to rob me. Although the find has become scarce, the activity itself is still something I really enjoy.

This depicts me cooking my birthday dinner,
because I wanted to.

Secondly, I thought everyone should know that I love to cook. This isn't because of anything super special, I just always have. I used to watch the Food Network with my grandma for as long as she'd let me stay up. I then became her "sous chef" and would help her in the kitchen any chance I could get. The second I was old enough to understand how to use the stove, I would voluntarily cook any meal for my family that I could, this still remains the case to this day. I cannot wait until I have my own apartment, my own cookware set, and my own kitchen to cook in, it is literally something I've had dreams about.

My sweet baby Whitney
Finally, to sum me up, I want to mention what I refer to as my child. To be very clear, I do not literally have a kid, but what I do have means just as much to me as one would. At home, I have a sweet little kitty named Whitney, Winnie for short. Although I cannot have my baby with me, she is still a big part of me and I think of her every day, we even FaceTime sometimes.

  2. I love going thrifting, it's one of my favorite things to do! I could spend hours in the thrift store. I also consider my cat, Molly, my kid as well. Whitney is super cute as well!

  3. Thank you for putting such effort into your introduction blog. I appreciate it. Do you have a favorite dish that you cook? Or perhaps a type of dish you've been wanting to try to cook?
