Who Am I


      My name is Gavin Martin, I am a wrestler here at Bloomsburg. I study Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. Wrestling has always been a big part of my life. I started when I was nine years old and I am very blessed to compete at the Division One level. 


I chose Bloomsburg mostly because of the wrestling program but I have really enjoyed my time spent here outside of wrestling. Coming here was a big change for me geographically. I am from Brick, New Jersey which is located right on the shore. My house is a five minute bike ride from the beach and that allowed me to spend a lot of my time there. 


I fell in love with surfing being so close to the beach and I have been able to surf during some pretty big storms and I can positively say there is nothing better than living on the beach. After college I intend to pursue a job in Marketing. It has always interested me and how companies choose to reach audiences and market towards them really peaks my interest.

    That picture of surfing is very cool, I would love to try surfing I think that is such a fun hobby! Being at school must be so different from living near the beach.

    Wow I wrestle to, what a coincidence . I don't live that far from the beach to, Iv always wanted to try surfing.

    I'm sure that moving from the beach to rural farmland is a big change. I lived in Hawaii for a number of years, and I also miss the beach quite a lot. I always enjoyed watching the surfing at the North Shore. Thanks for sharing.

 My name is Madeline Rineer. I live in Lancaster, about 2-2.5 hours from here. I am an honors student and a Mandarin Chinese language major.  In my free time, I like to dance. When my nails aren't too long, I also like to practice the piano and play the guitar. Who am I?

Hi, my name is Dat Le. I am a freshman at Bloomsburg University, and my current major that I changed to is Biomedical Science with a Pre-med concentration. I live in the city of  Wilkes-Barre which is pretty close to Bloomsburg so I could have commuted, but I chose to dorm and see the real college experience. Every since high school, I've enjoyed playing volleyball during and outside of school so I chose to also play in club volleyball I college. I originally grew up in Vietnam and moved to the states in 2013. My last surprising fact is that I recently went to New York for the first time the day before I came back from break.

Who Am I?

First Tier II tournament win!     Hello, my name is Carter Brown. I'm from Pottsville, PA, around an hour drive away. I am a second year student, and I changed to an EGGS major in the professional geology concentration last semester, formerly a chemistry major.      I enjoy video games and I am part of the Smash & Games club on campus. If you come to Kehr Union room 231 in the late afternoon or evening on Friday, chances are you will see me engaging in some sort of video game at the Smash & Games club. I won a Smash Bros. tournament there last semester, which was when the picture on the right was taken! I also enjoy bowling. I often go bowling on Thursday nights with other members of the bowling club. I have also recently gotten into Star Wars, around a year ago.
