"The community is what makes a place" barista Sydney says. Sydney is a freshman here at Bloomsburg who works at the cafe. She has long hair and dark black glasses and most of the time can find her at the cafe. Sydney also added "Cafe Martha was once known as Fog and Flame but after new owners took over not only the name changed but the community." Cafe Martha does not only make sure their coffee, and food is top tier but also customer service. The cafe always has the door opening and closing with people coming in and out. Around 3 o'clock on a Thursday on a chilly day in the winter and it was not crazy busy, but a man with a beard and glasses dressed in a suit typing aggressively on his laptop drinking a coffee sat at a table doing work. The cafes favorite time of year is in the fall when the Bloomsburg university students come back. According to Sydney "weekends are the busiest days and we usually get a rush from 10 to 12."

Cafe Marthas menu is filled with so many choices of drinks it is almost an overwhelming feeling. One drink the customers absolutely love and order most is a vanilla iced coffee. A drink that sounds delicious, but most customers don't know about is the London fog. There are many options for drinks if you like cold or hot or even smoothies. The baristas all shift are making different and unique drinks for customers. "Emma" the barista yells and puts a hot chai on the counter for Emma to come get it when it is done. Not only are there drinks very popular and tasty but also their food. Their most common food item is the breakfast sandwich. This sandwich consists of eggs on a perfectly baked piece of sourdough. To add a little more flavor to your sandwich you can get bacon or sausage. "This is the most ordered sandwich because of how customizable it is to each customer." The Bacon Pecan salad is also on the menu but not commonly ordered because you need to have a " acquired taste" Sydney explains. The pastry's sit in a clear case staring at you while your mouth waters. Scones, fresh blackberry Danish with cream cheese filling the center, chocolate chip cookies all have a warm light shining down on them and smell so fresh and sweet. The cafe hired a baker who makes an assortment of baked goods to sell every day. Unfortunately, for people with allergies all their food is made in the back with the same stuff, so they are not the most accommodating when it comes to allergies. "We hope in the near future to have a gluten free menu and grow from there" Sydney adds.

| Cinnamon Sugar on Sourdough Bread |
The artwork on the chai tea is so impressive. It is so delicate and pretty it makes you not want to sip the drink and ruin it by having the cold foam on your top lip. "Look how gorgeous this leaf is they made with the cinnamon" a teenage girl told her friends. "Oh my gosh that's amazing" her friend replied. The girls then continued to pull out their phones and take pictures admiring this artwork. Every flash and tap of the phone showed what kind of customers cafe Martha serves.
When asked about first Friday Sydney's face lit up. The employees of Cafe Martha really enjoy "First Friday" this is the first Friday of every month when small local businesses come together in the community, Cafe Martha this Friday in February showcased jewelry and stones from local vendors and had poetry writing in another corner of the store. Hearing the typewriter keys going and hearing about the kinds of stone made it an enjoyable night for everyone.
Sitting in the corner of the cafe on the brown couch a little girl with a long blonde ponytail and an older woman with short gray hair who the girl called "grammy" ate sourdough with cinnamon sugar sprinkled on the top. The little girl trying not go get cinnamon sugar everywhere and her grammy with a napkin on standby. "May I have the breakfast sandwich with bacon" a young girl asks the barista and then pulled out her Student ID card to get a discount. "Careful It's hot" a tall man said telling his daughter to be careful when drinking her hot chocolate. " Do you want your scone warmed" The Barista wearing a long white skirt with her hair pinned back asks the customer. These interactions show the small business is run because of a community and employees at cafe Martha.
