Blue Mountain Ski Resort

packed parking lot, people tailgating with grills and putting on gear by cars
slow consistent cool air
mountains have overwhelming but also calming presence
kids happily laughing and yelling while energetic music is playing
birds cawcawing
sun peeking through the clouds, rays visible
fresh cold air, freezing on skin
boots are very snug on feet
can smell the chocolate waffles wofting over from the waffle cabin
ski patrol whislting down the mountain carrying an injured person in sled
Teenage park rats running and laughing towards the lift
Passes beeping while scanning through the lift lines
visuals- people making squiggly lines down the slope
adults yelling over football at outside bar
Bartender laughing while passing out drinks
my body is cold but energized and very alive
sun shines off the snow where it peeks through the clouds
the Lodge looks like a giant corporate but yet beautiful cabin
at bottom of mountain riders look like tiny water droplets flowing down a car window while riding down the mountain
dad carrying daughters skis, she's running around full of energy
two people carrying their snowboards with snow all over them walking down the mountain, heads down, shoulders shrugged
ski slopes look like gaint streaks of white paint squiggled over earthy canvas
