ARMY

Dive into the sea of purple with the fandom of BTS, ARMY. As a fan myself I wasn’t particularly inclined to participate in the fandom, that was until I found out the benefits of being a part of a community like ARMY. In this blog I will go through the access of charity, community, and fan information through this fandom.

Being a part of army introduces fans to various forms of charity work in the name of BTS. Fans regularly organize donation drives, environmental projects, scholarship funds, food banks, fundraising, and more. For example a fan run face book page, US BTS ARMY, holds an annual fundraiser to support kids all over the world. These activities reflect the values of BTS represented in their music, that so often attract caring fans. Participating in these projects even a little bit would allow you to create a positive impact in the real world.

Beyond their music, ARMY offers a real sense of community. Fans connect through shared experiences like rushing to get merch online, trading photo cards, attending concerts, and reacting to fan made edits together. ARMY does their best to care for eachother at concerts, for example freebies are handed out, and trash is picked up by fans to ensure fans like themselves enjoy the BTS experience. Even online fans constantly encourage each other in collaborative activities like random dance challenges, and dance covers. In the comments of this Black Swan dance cover, by UNLXMITED, you can find tons of supportive words from other fans. Joining ARMY Is a place where you can feel supports and connected.

ARMY opens their arms all new fans, long time fans make becoming a full fledged ARMY as easy as pie. The website US BTS ARMY, is a fan fun site that organizes translation pages, comeback schedules, news updates, concert etiquette, and more so that new ARMY have no trouble integrating into the fanbase. What could quickly become overwhelming becomes exciting due to the already built supper system designed to help people feel more comfortable with the fandom. ARMY doesn’t only consume BTS content, but will teach you how to become a participating fan, making the fandom so much more welcoming.

In conclusion, ARMY is a charitable, supportive, handover that is completely welcoming to anyone who wishes to join, so maybe you should give it a shot.
