You could be a wizard~ The Harry Potter Fandom

     When you have such a strong and accepting fandom like Harry Potter, it can be scary to try to participate in the fandom. However, the fandom is never shy to welcome new members and lift members up when they feel down.

    The Harry Potter fandom has been around since the first launch of J.K. Rowling's first Harry Potter book. Since then, it has taken off and continues to welcome fans into the fandom. If you are curious about what house you would best fit in,theis I encourage you to take the sorting hat quiz. You are then able to interact with people who are similar to you since they are in the same house.

    if your ar interested in fan art for the fandom, I suggest looking on Instagram, TikTok, and places like that.  Those are great places where fans interact and lift each other up and encourage one another. Pagnozzi (2025) illustrated an image that is a series of four pictures that is titled A Window to the Past. The artist added to the caption that the artwork didn’t come out how they wanted it to, and there are 58 commenters who are interacting with the images. The comments vary from saying that the artwork made them cry because of how sad the progression is,

to how amazing they thought the artwork is. Theandom welcomes and uplifts each other, so never feel as if you aren't welcomed because they are always ready to reach out and support you if you need it.

    you could also interact via reddit boards abpit harry potter like the board where fans are excitedly talking about the new tv show and shareing thing that they wish to see in the new series Yuzudo (2026), who shows some of their thoughts by saying, “One thing I’d love to see in the Harry Potter HBO series: a montage of other students receiving their Hogwarts letters.”. there are always places you can go to be welcomed and share how you feel about the fandom and how you wish some things were different.
